Last Updated: 3 December 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the provision of services by Golden Housekeeper LTD, Company Number: 16502368, with registered office at Bullers Farm Barn, Baughurst, Tadley, RG26 5LL , United Kingdom.

Please read these Terms carefully. Your access to and use of our services is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

We provide regular cleaning services as outlined in your personalised Clean Plan Tasks. Additional tasks or

heavier workloads may require checklist adjustments or extra hours. Specialist tasks such as silver polishing or

wood restoration fall outside regular cleaning, and Golden Housekeeper LTD is not liable for results or damages

related to specialist procedures.

2. Payment Terms

Payments must be made via bank transfer or another agreed method on the same day of service. Deep cleans,

Airbnb cleans, or one-off services may require advance or immediate payment.

3. Scheduling, Cancellations & Fees

• Clients must give at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

• Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice incur 50% of the visit cost.

• If the team attends and cannot access the property, 100% of the visit cost applies.

• We may reschedule in rare cases due to illness or emergencies.

4. Property Access

Clients must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time. Wi-Fi must be available for assistants to

access the Golden Housekeeper internal system and communicate where mobile signal is weak.

5. Liability & Damages

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or aged items. Liability for accidental damage applies only to items valued above £250. We are not responsible for damage to equipment subject to natural wear.

5.1 Minor Accidental Breakages

Golden Housekeeper LTD is not liable for the accidental breakage of small or low-value items (e.g. ornaments, glassware, small decorative objects) valued below £250, provided there was no negligence involved. Accidents can occasionally happen during normal cleaning duties, and we ask clients to bear this in mind, particularly with fragile or delicate items they wish to keep especially safe.

5.2 Pre-Existing Faults or Fragile Fixtures

If a client is aware of a pre-existing fault, weakness, or fragility affecting an item or fixture (e.g. a loose fitting, an already-cracked surface, an unstable mirror or shelf), it is the client's responsibility to inform Golden Housekeeper in writing and/or to have it repaired. Where such a fault has not been disclosed and results in damage during cleaning, Golden Housekeeper LTD will not be held liable.

5.3 Courtesy Tasks (Non-Chargeable Add-Ons)

From time to time, our team may carry out additional tasks as a goodwill gesture at no extra charge (for example, cleaning inside an oven, a fridge, or a chandelier/light fitting) that are not part of the client's contracted Clean Plan. Golden Housekeeper LTD accepts no liability for any damage arising from tasks performed as a courtesy and not charged as a paid add-on service. Liability as set out in this section applies only to tasks that form part of the client's paid service.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

We do not share client information. Personal belongings are handled only when necessary.

7. Photographs

We may take non-identifiable before/after photos for marketing unless the client opts out in writing.

8. Communication Policy

All communication about scheduling, tasks, or changes must be with Fernanda or Daniel. Clients may not

request or use assistants' personal contact information. Gifts must be coordinated through Golden Housekeeper.

9. Conduct & Prohibition of Direct Hiring

Clients must not offer work directly to team members. Attempting to do so incurs a fee equal to six weeks of the

client's recent service average.

10. Client Responsibilities – Products & Equipment

Clients must provide suitable cleaning products, adequate cloths and proper equipment. Results may be affected

if products are insufficient or inappropriate.

11. Purchasing Items

A service fee applies when purchasing items on behalf of the client, in addition to reimbursement.

12. Health & Safety

We may decline service if conditions are unsafe, pets are aggressive, or hazardous materials are present.

13. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

  1. 14. Regular Slots and Long-Term Absences

  1. Regular cleaning slots are designed for clients who maintain a consistent cleaning frequency.

If a client pauses or cancels regular services for more than 2 consecutive weeks,

the regular slot may be released and offered to another client. In this situation,

Golden Housekeeper will not be able to guarantee the same day, time, assistant or team when the client wishes to return.

The client may request to resume services, but this will be treated as a returning booking and will be subject to current availability,

    route planning and team capacity.
